Is CEU-Renew an approved provider?
Yes, CEU-Renew is an approved provider for continuing education with the Florida Board of Cosmetology. You can view all approved continuing education providers on the department's website at www.MyFlorida.com/dbpr, select Professionals and Professional Board > Cosmetology and then scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Are the courses provided by CEU-Renew approved by the Florida Board of Cosmetology?
Yes, our courses have been reviewed and approved by the FL Board of Cosmetology to meet the required content and hours for license renewal.
How many hours of continuing education is required for Cosmetologists?
Continuing education courses must be completed prior to the end of each renewal cycle and before the licensee can renew their license. Cosmetologists, nail technicians, facial specialists, and full specialists are required to complete 10 hours of board approved continuing education prior to the end of each renewal cycle.
Will CEU-Renew submit my course completion to the Board?
Yes. Approved providers of the course(s) is required to electronically submit proof of your course completion information to the department as required by the law (within 30 days or prior to the end of the renewal cycle). You can also visit www.MyFlorida.com/dbpr to verify your hours have been reported.
